We will have flower provided by Blk Girls Who Garden to decorate our creative space. Presketched canvas will feature Black people enjoying all spring blooms have to offer. Come with a open mind + heart + soul to get creative and connect with community. You will have the opportunity to participant in a paid raffle to receive an art piece.

Of course this is about your expression and I want you to have fun with whatever sketch you choose. As most of you may already know I love celebrating my very beautiful VERY Black culture. We will also have the incredibly talented euni sharing some of her impactful poetry. Join us for a night of movement and connection to channel our inner creativity. This collaboration will be with the incredibly talented Maya M Joshi who is a visual artist and graphic designer. During this event we will be using the power of music to guide us through the process of creation. Our hope is to inspire you on your own creative journey. Pre-sketched canvas will include a dancing figures that illustrate our own cultural experiences. Takeaways will be a new way of experiencing art through movement.
